„meldet euch mal“, „lasst was von euch hören“, „schreibt mal, wie’s da so ist“, so die aufforderung vieler freunde und bekannten, als wir im sommer 2007 nach indien aufgebrochen sind. der agricolus blog ist entstanden, weil a) wir zu wenig zeit und lust für persönliche emails hatten und b) klassische postkartentexte nur geringen unterhaltungswert bieten. stattdessen haben wir jeden monat, zumindest zehn monate lang, unsere eindrücke in kurzen texten zusammengefasst. nun ist erstmal pause, bis zu unserem nächsten aufenthalt auf dem subkontinent. außer es würde uns vorher noch etwas neues einfallen, dass wir dringend loswerden möchten. könnte ja sein – am neunten zum beispiel.

„keep in touch“, „give us a ring“, „drop a line how things are going there“, our friends and acquaintances called upon us when we left for india in summer 2007. the agricolus blog came up because a) we had too little time and zest to write personal email and b) classical postcard texts are not very entertaining. instead  we monthly summarized, at least for ten month, our impressions in short texts. now we take a break till our next visit on the subcontinent. except we had some news to share. could be – on a ninth for example.
